Survival Equipment Services (SES) are an independent company specialising in the servicing of escape systems & survival equipment for military and civilian applications.

We specialise in providing a complete bespoke service & overhaul of Martin-Baker aircrew ejection seats & survival systems including fabric components, parachute assemblies and ejection seat cartridges.

Founded in 1998 by former RAF specialist Del Hall, Survival Equipment Services (SES) has become one of the UK’s leading providers of aircrew survival, ejection seat, parachute, and marine safety equipment. Backed by more than 27 years of hands-on expertise, SES delivers world-class survival solutions to the aviation, offshore, marine, and rescue sectors.

 Specialising in the service, supply, design, and manufacture of advanced escape systems, SES is certified by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and leading OEMs, ensuring every product meets the highest standards of safety and performance. From military and civil aviation to air ambulance and offshore rescue operations, the team provides mission-ready, tailored solutions built for the realities of operational life.

SES have designed and developed several personal survival items and rescue equipment including personal survival packs, lifejackets, liferafts and rescue stretchers. In addition, we widely service and maintain survival equipment including personal survival packs, aircrew helmets, liferafts and lifejackets.

  • To support our product portfolio, we supply a wide range of personal flying equipment including aircrew helmets, oxygen masks and clothing and a selection of survival aids.

    We pride ourselves on our in-house service capability, the flexibility of technical know-how and design capabilities that have warranted our customised involvement in engineering adventures over the world.

    SES are also able to offer a wide range of spares & consumable supplies for escape systems and survival equipment as well as a dedicated in-house bespoke training facility for all associated survival and escape system equipment.
